Barchetta
Floating in a salty sea…
Barchetta looks like a calzone or rollò (oven cooked brioche) but it is a “cabriolet” since a large part of its upper side is uncovered allowing the vision of its tasty filling. From the first glance, thus, we can get an idea of its filling that often varies: cheese is always present, we can find ham, sausage, salami, eggplants, artichokes, mushrooms and even French fries in different arrangements. There are two most common variants: the one with ham, mozzarella and sausage and the one with salami.
