Iris al forno
Ricotta triumph.
The Iris al forno is the lighter version of the Iris fritta. It is a round brioche filled with sweet ricotta cheese and chocolate drops, that melted by cooking, mark the purity of the white cream. Outside it is covered in powdered sugar that usually puffs in your face at the first bite. The Iris al forno as well as the Ciambella is considered essential at breakfast . It is not fried but cooked in the oven: lighter but still prone to cause false diet promises.
